When visiting Tasmania, you cannot help but pull over at every opportunity and just soak in the stunning scenery that this state has got to offer. This landscape shot of the central highlands was taken while on our way to the famous Freycinet National Park after a couple of days at the equally impressive Cradle Mt – Lake St Clair National Park. The cleanliness and crispness of the cool mountain air is incredibly addictive while the landscape is just breathtaking. It is certainly a place I would love to visit again, again, and again.
This scape is absolutely amazing. I've never seen many photographs of Tasmania, but I am grateful of having seen this one. I'm not certain as to whether or not the beams of light shining down are the work of retouching or the work of a deity, but it looks miraculously well regardless. There's a nice balance of colors between the somewhat dreary grey skies and the rich lush of the land. It all is pieced together well to make for a great nature landscape.
I'd consider visiting just for the sights alone if they're anything as beautiful as the picture portrays it to be.
